Great night at the Huddersfield Law Society Dinner
Berties Ballroom in Elland played host to the Huddersfield Incorporated Law Society's Annual Dinner last night. It was a thoroughly entertaining evening, having been warned in advance about the length of the speeches I was very pleasantly surprise when they actually arrived. David Kendall,the guest speaker was one of the best After Dinner speakers I have heard. I was, in places, wiping tears from my eyes.
Sarah Young from Ridley Hall Solicitors, this year's President spoke of the unity of the Huddersfield law firms, the achievements with the Society's twinning with Uganda and spoke of the work being done with the Access to Justice organisation and had invited Lindsay Ward, a member of the North East Legal Support Trust to open the proceedings.
The evening was attended by around 120 prominent Professionals from the local area.
A wonderful evening and a huge thank you to Ridley & Hall for inviting us.
