Solicitors go green!
Ridley & Hall Solicitors are leading the way in the green crusade and its not just in their branding!
Ridley and Hall Solicitors , a Huddersfield Firm, are concerned about the effects of plastic bags/waste on the environment,
so whilst the Government is taking action to support the reduction of plastic packaging in the waste stream, this forward thinking Firm thought they would do their bit too.
At a recent ‘Kidz up North’ exhibition held this month at the Reebok Stadium, Ridley and Hall put the Firm’s leaflets in branded cotton carry bags instead of the usual plastic carriers, for the public to take away. The cotton bags are re-usable and bio-degradeable.
Ridley and Hall have also issued their staff with these bags for more environmentally friendly shopping.
Other measures put in place include not printing emails unless absolutely necessary, recycling cardboard, etc
Nigel Priestley, Senior Partner said: "Environmental issues are important to us and we wanted to be able to make a difference in the workplace as we do at home. The whole Firm has got wholeheartedly behind the initiative."
